Three reasons teams pick Confide over EthicsPoint

Voice reports without a call center

Echo completes the report while the reporter is still there. Sentinel answers questions across every case, with citations, and carries out tasks. Compose drafts and signs the documents. All three are in the platform fee.

One fee for the whole platform

One annual fee by headcount, with unlimited users and cases. EthicsPoint does not publish a price.

Why teams choose Confide over EthicsPoint

+50%

More reports arrive ready to investigate

Echo asks the follow-up questions while the reporter is still there, not after a call ends.

1 day

Standard setup

Most programs go live in a day. Enterprise rollouts with SSO and migration take three to six weeks.

USD 0

Per user or per case

EthicsPoint does not publish a price. Confide charges one annual fee by headcount.

Who is EthicsPoint good for

The low-risk choice

Your board wants an established name, and NAVEX brings decades of hotline experience.

Less appetite for customization

You want to adopt a standard program and compare your results with a large peer benchmark.

Telephone requirements and large budgets

Phone lines are non-negotiable, and you have budget for enterprise procurement and rollout.

Thinking about switching from EthicsPoint?

Switching is a white-glove job. Confide's compliance experts learn how you run your program, move your EthicsPoint history across and set the platform up to work the way you want it to.

  1. Kick-off with a compliance expert

A Confide compliance expert works through how you run your program today: what works, what needs more automation and what you want it to become.

  2. Export from EthicsPoint

We review the data you hold in EthicsPoint, cases, statuses, attachments and users, and help you get it exported.

  3. Import into Confide

We import it, map fields and open-case statuses and you check the result. One to two days.

  4. Custom setup and admin training

Your dedicated Customer Success Manager configures Confide to the plan: accounts, reporting links, QR codes and workflows, with hands-on training for your admins. The work gets easier and faster, and nothing from your history is lost.

  5. Testing and feedback

With the configured system in place we test it together, gather feedback and make the final adjustments so it fits the way your team works.

  6. Embedding and growth

We help you embed Confide in your speak-up culture, find where the program can grow and keep it working long after launch.

Questions about switching

Is Confide a NAVEX EthicsPoint alternative?
Yes, for teams that want web and voice reports in one case, anonymous two-way follow-up and AI across casework. AI stays off until you turn it on, and your reports are never used to train models. If your policy promises a phone line answered by people, choose a product that offers one.
How does pricing compare?
Confide publishes annual bands by employee headcount, from USD 2,000 a year, with unlimited users and cases, and the calculator on this page shows your band. We did not find EthicsPoint pricing published, so ask for a quote at the same headcount, web forms, voice reports and languages.

Does Confide offer a phone hotline?
No. Reporters speak inside the product from any browser or phone, in their own language, and the voice is distorted and transcribed into the case. Confide does not provide a number that people dial and an operator answers; the hotline page shows how a voice report arrives.

How does the AI compare?
Confide includes Echo for follow-up questions at intake, Sentinel for questions across cases with citations, and Compose for drafting and signing documents. All three are in the platform fee and stay off until you enable them. NAVEX offers Nira for telephone intake and analytics; confirm the scope and price in your quote.
Can we bring our case history across?
Yes. Confide imports unlimited CSV and Excel files. Our onboarding team maps fields and open-case statuses with you, you check the result before go-live, and the data is hosted in Frankfurt from day one. Open cases keep their history, attachments and deadlines.
